We carry inside us the wonders we seek outside.

My Journey

For many years, I searched outside myself for validation, love, and a sense of worth. Fear and self-doubt kept me stuck in repeating patterns and playing small. At my core I believed I was somehow broken, 'not enough' and undeserving of the person I wanted to be and the life I dreamed of having. I was always deferring to the opinions of others rather than trusting my own knowing and inner voice. I was very good at supporting others to live their 'best' life, but not so good at giving myself permission to do the same.

At 55, somehow life started to feel very short and very precious! I was done with going around and around in circles, repeating the same patterns, bowing to the same fears and denying myself a life of freedom, passion and purpose. With the support of many wise and wonderful women I learnt to trust myself, to get honest and clear about what I wanted and who I wanted to be. All my yearning to be chosen, accepted, valued, and seen had to start with me, and the exciting part was that I had the power to do it! When I created space to be still and present with myself, to get curious and listen. I discovered my inner wisdom and knowing and step by step began to trust it.

I now believe I hold the keys to my own life and don't need to wait for anyone's permission to live it! Who I believe I am, what I believe I can have and do all starts with me. My mindset either limits me, keeps me trapped and playing small or opens me up to new possibilities, growth and expansion. I continue to be excited by the evidence in neuroscience that supports our ability to grow and change and for our brain and nervous system to rewire for success, not just survival.

I believe you’re never too old, too young, or too “broken” to start dreaming again, to change direction and create the life that you want!

The lotus is a powerful symbol for me.

It represents resilience and strength—the way it pushes through the mud and murky waters, always moving toward the light. It reminds me that it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from; it’s where you’re going that matters.
Like the lotus I believe every woman has the power to rise, to bloom, and to live from the truth of who she is.
